Katie Brewer
Katie is co-director of the studio along with her
sister Emma and teaches tap, jazz, ballroom and street jazz.
Katie trained at her grandmother's dancing school "The Jeanne
Brewer School of Dance" when she was young and then started
teaching adults after leaving university. Katie's all-time
favourite dancers / performers are Fred Astaire, Carlos Acosta
and The Nicholas Brothers. |

David and Sandra
Coppen A/UKA
David & Sandra have both been dancing for over 30 years each and
decided to turn a hobby into a full time career when they
started their own company - Featherstep Dance Studios in May
2008. They were 5th in the professional Ballroom Championships,
have been professional dancers since 1997 and are adjudicators
and have yearly medal tests for those who wish to show something
from their dancing. |

Laura Griffiths
Laura began teaching at the studio in 2005;
she trained in Latin American/Ballroom before studying Dance and
Culture at the University of Surrey where she recently completed
an MA. During her training Laura has studied Contemporary,
Ballet, African People's Dance and Kathak. Also a freelance
dance writer, Laura enjoys all aspects of dance and loves
teaching in the great atmosphere at First Dance Studios!

Anna Loveday
Anna Loveday has been training choirs since
the age of 18, as she conducted the University Choir whilst
studying for her first degree in Music. She then took a Masters
degree in Music at Royal Holloway, University of London,
specialising in Vocal Performance. Anna has sung solo parts in
all the major Oratorios with Choral Societies across the South
of England and in London and she also regularly performs
recitals, which include arias, art songs and musical theatre
